Book Review: William McKinley and His America

2 oz rye whiskey
1 oz sweet vermouth
1 teaspoon cherry liqueur
1 dash absinthe
Garnish: Lemon twist.

Put all but lemon twist in a shaker with ice, stir until chilled, strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
