Book Review: Mr. Jefferson’s Hammer: William Henry Harrison & the Origins of American Indian Policy

This weeks book of the week is on the 9th president, William Henry Harrison. Best known for dying 31 days after being inaugurated, WHH had a long history as President Jefferson's Indian Affairs Officer in the Indiana Territory. It is not a pretty story.

This weeks Cocktail is good old fashioned Egg Nog...and I mean Olde Fashioned. With an E

1 egg
1 teaspoon of sugar
dry red wine or hard cider
nutmeg

Mix the egg and sugar in a cocktail mixer over ice and pour into a glass. Pour the cider or wine over that. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
